Sam has 25 years as the founder and CEO of The Hub Company and a leader in Digital Operations and transformation.An example of this was they were recently awarded an Innovate UK grant to deliver an end to end Covid Status Certification and Vaccination Passport system. This was commissioned by the NHS test and trace team and was 1 of only 2 companies to be selected.As CEO and strategic lead, Sam continues to put the IT company and himself at the forefront of digital transformation programmes . He is fortunate to have a wide range of strategic and global partnerships created over a long time and who all remain available to be integrated with to transform businesses using the best of breed and latest applications and devices in an ever increasing world of the Internet of Things (IoT).Rapid implementation is increasingly possible having built an in house Digital Operations Platform (DOP) with a 24/7 real-time dashboard called Commander. All of what The Hub have built over 25 years is re-useable and most still in high demand....what is not can be built and plugged into our platform. For example The Hub DOP has already managed all forms of digital devices and issued well over 50m smart tokens and processed over £500m + payments. The range of clients over the years has been mainly but not exclusively across digital payment, transport, healthcare and event operations.Prior to The Hub Sam read Geography at Cambridge and was a hockey blue. He left in 1978 to join Price Waterhouse as a trainee accountant. He then spent 15 years in mainstream global advertising groups, 12 of them on the Boards of companies such as McCanns; Interpublic and Dorlands owned by Saatchis. He was UK head of strategy as well as account management and worked with over 40 large advertising clients who spent well over £500m with him in 'old media'. These included the likes of Unilever, Heinz, BAT, DHL, Transport for London and many others.The Hub was infact the 1st UK digital agency awarded the Grand Prix at Cannes for interactivity as well as a Lion for innovation as far back as 2001.
