As the Financial Controller, I am responsible for leading Vast Electrical's financial strategy, cashflow and operations. I ensure we have the working capital to support growth as well as the financial stability to maintain our excellent relationships with suppliers, partners and clients. Our collaborative approach internally delivers outstanding results for clients while ensuring we continue to build our financial strength and security. I work closely with our project managers to help them understand all financial aspects of each project. We work together on forecasts to determine each project’s life cycle and the immediate and future requirements of Vast Electricals’ financial resources.My role incorporates a strong focus on commercial management. As part of the Executive Leadership team, I help develop strategies to identify the sectors and projects that best fit our business model and objectives, and I provide regular financial updates to the Managing Director. I also work with the Estimating team to ensure we continue to deliver on our promises while building a solid financial platform for the business.I manage all compliance requirements and I’m responsible for our financial systems and processes including implementation, training and continual improvements.I enjoy collaborating with the great group of people we have assembled. The project team works alongside finance, embracing the forecasting model Vast has built, to ensure we continue to deliver great results for our clients and the company overall.
