We have come a long way in 15 years, from my kitchen table to having 3 factories around the world and our products helping military and law enforcement in over 40 countries. With a person centric approach and quality at the heart of everything we do, we always focus on the individual… it doesn’t matter if we deliver 10,000 sets of body armour, my focus is always on the one soldier. We have worked tirelessly to achieve a zero defects policy with full life cycle support. I believe in the power of relationships. Not a superficial one to make a sale but relationships based on trust, time and expertise. Our clients are partners in our success. We offer help, our industry knowledge and our experience to anyone who asks without any expectations of business. Helping our clients and friends to make the right procurement decisions is a key element we all share in Sarkar even if we are recommending a solution from another source. These are the values of our company. Today we are making Body Armour, Ballistic Helmets, EOD robots, Bomb Suits, EOD equipment and most recently Drones and Anti Drone systems. Our faith in the power of relationships has helped us achieve these amazing things. As SMEs we have to collaborate or die in our individual silos. Our joint venture partners, clients and suppliers are part of that wider Sarkar family. I alone cant achieve anything of real value. My objective everyday is to build and work to maintain a team of incredible individuals who not only enjoy working together but see our work as a collective mission to help those who are putting their lives at risk everyday around the world for their communities, cities and countries. As a leader, my job is really to make sure we are not afraid to leave our comfort zones, support my people with the training, equipment and guidance to achieve their full potential. It is important for me to listen, engage and learn everyday. Only when we are open to changing our perspectives, challenge our views, we truly grow. My role as a CEO is also to make sure that our customers get excited about what we do and to introduce our products into new markets. Helping the business grow, increase market share and develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Finally, we understand the importance of giving back. In addition to supporting a number charities and volunteer organisations with our equipment we are always looking for other avenues where we can make a difference.
