Samuel Chan is a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group's London office, having previously worked at the New York office. At BCG, he primarily works in People & Organization (POP), Tech & Digital Advantage (TDA), and Financial Institutions (FI), collaborating with clients on large-scale transformations in organization & tech infrastructure. He has also contributed to the Consumer, Public Sector, Industrial Goods, and Travel, Cities & Infrastructure (TCI) practices.Before BCG, Samuel was a Fellow at the NYU Center for the Humanities. His award-winning research focused on the public sector and the arts (cultural infrastructure, higher education, and global mobility of expertise). He has presented at academic conferences across Europe, Asia, and the US, and has taught at the intersections of culture, media, and technology. He has organized academic conferences and served on various board committees and task forces at professional societies.Samuel received his PhD and MPhil from New York University as a Henry MacCracken Fellow, his MA from UC San Diego as a Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholar, and his BA (First Class Honors) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong as a Kunkle and Pommerenke Scholar, with minors in French and German. He also attended the School of Criticism and Theory at Cornell University, and studied at UCLA and the University of Cambridge.As a musician, he has performed in New York, San Diego, Osaka, Kyoto, Kagoshima, Arcidosso (Italy), Shanghai, Shenzhen, Macao, and Hong Kong.
