Combining multiple skills that I've developed through my previous jobs and freelance gigs, this position is focused on leading the creative identity of our artists, including Mick Jenkins, Noname, theMIND, and Da-P. This can vary from facilitating the design and production of their merchandise, to maintaining their websites with up to date information and imagery. This is closely tied to their marketing, meaning I also assist with promotion for tour dates, and coordinating brand partnerships.

Over the course of my time at Closed Sessions, I got hands on experience in developing and maintaining regular content for the label's blog. In the process, I established multiple different recurring streams of content such as themed-interviews with industry leaders in Chicago and musicians. Before I truly knew very much about the music industry I had the opportunity to work under Bird, a veteran of the legendary MPLS-based label. During my time there, I was able to work on projects that focused on distribution, finance, and marketing.
