As a former student at Drexel University studying Biomedical Engineering and a candidate for Master of Science at Columbia University, I aspire to help patients in desperate need of accessible and efficient medical tools. My five-year plan consists of immersing myself with others with similar goals - to improve the quality of life of those in need for health-related issues and deficits in technology. Through my past involvement in academic conferences presenting a device focused on providing remote therapy for Parkinson's Disease patients, I want to incorporate my skills in design (nTopology, Mimics Materialise, AutoCAD) and coding (Python, MATLAB) with my knowledge in Biomedical field (Biomechanics, Biomaterials, Neuroengineering) to provide the best for clinical care. Capstone Design Project Leader
As a team leader, I designed, programmed, and manufactured a remote therapeutic device named TeleLSVT for Lee Silverman Voice Treatment BIG therapy that aids patients suffering from Parkinson's Disease. With the device the patient can essentially perform therapy at a remote setting, not having to visit the clinical site. Alongside two other colleagues and three professional advisors, I adhered patient needs in real-time feedback as well as precise and accurate motion tracking.

Co-Op Chemist, Engineering Intern
As a chemist/engineering intern, I conducted experiments and managed shipments for local and out-of-state sites providing cartridges to sample air quality. With so, I performed HPLC elution and allocation on air quality from the retrieved cartridges from each site. Alongside my data analytics and management background, I created and organized data sheets to analyze to be much more accessible. With the gathered data, my team had weekly meetings to discuss site-specific work that needed to be completed. Using the analysis program provided by Agilent HPLC, my team and I reported the data back to headquarters for further actions in regulating the city's environmental qualities.
