Innovations, Monitoring and Evaluation for Honeyguide, specifically;-* Oversee M&E department* Design M&E metrics* Design, train and oversee data collection tools* IT Solutions research, design and testing--​>When I'm working in the field I do Antipoaching-patrols monitoring and camping, --​>At the office I'm the M&E person, IT technical hand, GIS fundi (mostly QGIS and ArcGIS), ODK geek and Database Manager (SMART, MySQL and Ms Access). --​>At home I either cook, watch movies with my wife or work on a consulting project. My key skills on programming are biased on Web Applications Development with HTML5+CSS3, PHP, SQL and Javascript....I also do a little Python Programming and Android Apps development.

Key Duties: Develop and provide co-workers in the organization with visual reports such as graphs and maps using data collected in the field. Manage the collection and storage of data within the M&E department. Manage and maintained all data collection tools such as smartphones and GPS’s. Train the data collection field officers on data collection and the use of date collection tools (GPS etc) Provide technical oversight of monitoring, evaluation and research activities; Assist project personnel with establishing evaluation plans for activities and the design of instruments; Supervise data collection/submission (including digital data collection on staff and consultants) to ensure high quality data; Supervise data collection and data entry teams and be responsible for the timely completion of data collection and data entry; To assist with the development, implementation and management of SMART software and GIS software and reporting tools; Assisting the anti-poaching units to develop strategic plans, have clear indicators and quantifiable criteria to enable reporting of the performance of all Anti-Poaching and Human Wildlife Conflict units;

Helping to oversee and troubleshoot field operations for MICCA project (Mitigation of Climate Change in Agriculture)• To supervise and execute a greenhouse gas monitoring program at the Kolero (Rural Morogoro)• Collecting and organizing the gas and soil samples from the field and their transport for analysis• To serve as intermediary between the field team based in Kolero and ICRAF TZ and ICRAF HQ•
