I attended General Assembly's Web Development Immersive program as part of my career change to become a full-fledged professional web developer. I've always felt absolutely obsessed and passionate about the Internet and I want to be able to develop interactive and client-facing technologies that are both meaningful and memorable to the people using them.I got a lot of exposure to the digital space through my last job as a Digital Sourcing Specialist at Avionos, a digital consultancy firm based in Chicago. After over two years working there, I became more and more interested in the technical applications my web/software developer co-workers were creating. They would develop deeply interactive applications and create incredibly responsive websites that would leave lasting impacts to their users. After a bit of soul searching and trying out some basic front-end coding technologies, I felt that by integrating my knowledge of social and business psychology, I could create/improve digital technologies in ways that leave similarly meaningful and memorable impressions on those who use them.
