As the Founder and Chairman of Simon Group Holdings (SGH) and its affiliates, I wake up every day proud to lead and work with an incredible team.I moved to the United States from Iraq when I was 9 years old. At 19, I started my first company, Atlas Oil. The mindset I had back then, and still use today was simple: success is all about people. Building up a team of passionate, driven, and energetic people allowed Atlas to grow to become one company of many, housed under the SGH brand. Our shared values link each member in every company and give us something to be proud of. Each company in our SGH family synergizes and collaborates to find a better way and innovate, a concept I call 1+1=11. While SGH has diverse interests and actively invests in Commercial Fueling, Oil Field Services, Logistics, Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Aviation, SaaS, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Mezzanine, Senior Debt, and Sports Entertainment. I am industry agnostic. If the right opportunity comes along and involves the right people, I’m in. Beyond work, I love spending time and traveling with my beautiful wife, Nada, and our twin boys, Michael and Peter. I'm an avid wine enthusiast and started our own winery based in Napa Valley, Simon Family Estate. I'm an active investor who is always looking for great investment opportunities.
