In this role, I lead a team of 20+ staff in delivering a seamless production operation - ensuring that all in-house assemblies are manufactured to the highest quality and service standards. In a typical day, I back up my team leads, collect data, and report KPIs to leadership. My favorite part of my role is serving as an advocate for my team and guiding professional development. I constantly look for continual opportunities to improve efficiency, product design, and production processes. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲: + Hire, train, evaluate, and coach all team members in best practices and performance standards for production and service. + Develop/maintain SOPs, training, and conduct standards for production – assuring quality, timeliness, and communication. + Maintain production equipment, ensure parts/maintenance supplies, and collaborate with vendors on repairs and service. + Partner with engineering and product services on new builds, revisions, and testing changes and/or problems. + Troubleshoot issues with processes, components, and raw materials, and solve problems alongside cross-functional teams.+ Foster collaborative relationships across teams with engineering, supply chain, customer service/tech support, and warehouse to recommend changes and improvements to inventory and structures to complete product buildouts.

In this small business, I conducted drone aviation photography, video, and mapping as a Part 107 commercial unmanned aircraft operator.

As a production coordinator, I planned, directed, and coordinated all production for the electronics manufacturing floor, building 40 different deicers, brushless motor controllers, and veterinary products. I was charged with scheduling production runs around machine and labor capacities, maintaining workflows and backing up as needed. I performed blank PCB assembly, optical inspections, conformal coatings, calibration, and environmental testing. My favorite part of this role was training staff. I trained on following bill of materials, blueprints, production, and safety procedures. I also completed comprehensive documentation for training, SOPs, assemblies, and quality and safety standards. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗱: + Implemented Lean manufacturing systems based on Kanban/Kaizen. Expanded quality policy and AS 9100 standard. + Finalized assemblies for Boeing 787, Global Hawk UAS, Cessna, Rolls Royce, and Sadia National Laboratories. + Partnered with IT to debug a new MRP to improve inventory and production analysis.
