I am an AI researcher and Manager of Research at modl.ai with a focus on machine learning-based procedural content generation or PCGML. My work at modl.ai focuses on developing designer-facing PCG tools that leverage machine learning for modeling and reproducing design patterns, while still exposing control over those models to the human level designers. With my team, we have developed and deployed a PCGML-assisted level design tool which is currently being used to create new levels for a launched game. My research interests include Procedural Content Generation (PCG), Game AI, and machine learning.
