I am the Senior Software Engineer at Back Paddock Company, a software and training services organisation focused on desktop and mobile applications for the agriculture industry. I am primarily responsible for developing and maintaining soil health software systems as well as our internal customer database. I supervise one junior software engineer. We have been transitioning to cloud-based systems over the last couple of years which helped us not only to manage our systems more efficiently but also to save on helpdesk and upgrade costs. Prior to working at Back Paddock Company, I worked for two IT consulting companies — Intellequity Corp & RCG Information Technology – both located in Manila, Philippines. I had the great privilege of working with various clients in different industries such as AstraZeneca, Honda Cars, Johnson and Johnson, Bayer, Unilab, SGS, and MondeNissin.I enjoy what I do and I always look forward to new challenges and learning new technologies. I am comfortable with dealing with various levels of an organisation, and find fulfilment whenever I leave a meeting or a phone call with a satisfied customer.
