- Process and seek delivery orders from various shipping lines for shipments.- Ensure that respective release orders are done in advance, ready and once entries is/are passed by DPC (times tower,) compile the required file/s needed for customs verification in the port or CFS and lodge them at respective customs offices without any delay.- Always present whenever shipments at hand is/are opened by customs or any other authority for verification.- After cargo verification, immediately ensurong that cargo is well secured e.g. cargoes in FCL containers MUST be re sealed as well as cargoes in crates or pallets re –palletized or crated.- Ensuring fast release of cargo from customs or any other authorities without delay and coomunicating to the management incase of any problem.- Ensure that cargo do NOT incur any storage or demurrage. And if assigned any cargo already under storage, prioritize the clearance process and take out the subject cargo as fast as possible in order to minimize the storage.- Process and present the required payments to port or CFS on charges billed on shipments.- Process gate passes, ensuring loading is done and finally physically clearance of the cargo from port or CFS without delay. - Issue to the transporters or truck drivers RHS delivery notes for every shipments you clear at port or CFS. This MUST always be adhered to without fail.- Give management regular updates of shipment/s handling on the ground. And in case of any problems, immediately communicate it to the management in the office.
