Lead the training function for South region - IndiaIdentifying Training and development needs within organisation, with regular consultation with business managers and human resources departmentDesigning and expanding training programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individualPlanning training programmes within budgets and assessing ROIDevelop effective induction programmesConducting appraisalsDevising individual learning plansProducing training materials for in-house coursesManaging the delivery of training and development programmes and, in a more senior role, devising a training strategy for the organisationMonitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managersEnsuring that statutory training requirements are met - ISO, COPCEvaluating training and development programmesAmending and revising programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environmentHelping line managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groupsKeeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant coursesHaving an understanding of e-learning techniques,being involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packagesResearching new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presenting this research
