Responsible for multiple scientific projects in environmental monitoring. Led efforts in merging spectral analysis (using Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy, DOAS) and computerized tomography (CT) techniques to measure the distribution of trace gases. Developed methods and instruments for determining the apportionment of pollution sources.Received the second prize of National Award for Scientific and Technological Progress, for outstanding contributions in the field of environmental monitoring technology.

Responsible for atmospheric absorption modelling and the retrieval of environmental/atmospheric data by combining Tomography and Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) techniques. Participated in the EU-funded project FORMAT, taking charge of airborne measurements, developing algorithms for spectrum data analysis and visualising data.

Responsible for 20+ scientific projects in domains of Laser Application, Optical Properties, Distributed Environmental Monitoring, Industrial Emission Monitoring and Control. Specialised in Software Architecture, System Integration, Data Acquisition and Spectrum Analysis.
