4 things define the whole of my being and purpose and can be seen in all that I engage in: Positive Transformation, Change, Impact, and Profit.Currently, I am dedicating my time to building Alafia.Alafia is an AI-driven Web3 project that addresses the critical issue of the global digital divide. We combine emerging technologies including Starlink, Blockchain, AI, and Geo-Mapping to connect the unconnected. Our mission is to close the digital divide and empower rural communities and cooperatives in emerging markets to unlock the over $1 trillion value at the bottom of the pyramid. Our main goal is to connect ~2 billion unconnected rural folks to affordable and reliable high-speed internet by 2036, empowering them to rise out of poverty.Prior to this, here are some of my engagements serving humanity:In 2020, I served as a pioneer Co-Facilitator in the Jobberman Soft Skills Training, the No.1 Soft Skills Training in Nigeria. This was in partnership with the MasterCard Foundation's Young Africa Work project, with the aim to "Train 5 million Youths and place 3 million in dignified workplaces, for the next five years."In 2019, I was appointed Campus Director by Hult Prize, UK — the world's largest platform for launching student-founded startups. Hult Prize gathers students globally to vie for a $1 million (USD) seed capital, supported by President Bill Clinton and the United Nations. For the second time in 2020, I was reappointed as Campus Director for the entire school campus. In the same year 2019, I assumed the role of Principal at Plogging Nigeria Club on his university campus — an initiative fostering environmental sustainability and fitness. There, I led a group of 30+ students. In 2018, I became the Project Coordinator for Getup Youth Africa, a youth-focused organization dedicated to upskilling Nigerian youths to alleviate unemployment and unemployability.During my undergraduate years, I represented my alma mater at multiple events and in recognition of my contributions, I was personally greeted by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Fagbohun, who also presented me with an autographed book. Also, I received an award from the Student Union Government of the school as One of the 100 Most Reputable Students, in honor and recognition of my social impact works across the school.Samson Oladapo has volunteered on numerous social impact projects, including skill acquisition, capacity building, addressing sexual and gender-based violence, and more.I am open to work, support, or consultation in the areas listed above.
