Responsible for overall commercial management and development of the company including developing and implementing market and business development strategies, identifying new opportunities and developing new client relationships.Principally accountable for the commercial success for all framework arrangements and national contracts, responsibilities extend to:- Implementation of efficient and effective commercial procedures across the business including responsibility for the financial model, pricing new framework contracts, forecasting contract growth and end to end responsibility for driving through contract variations.- Production of relevant contract commercial reports and analysis both internal and external.- Reviewing and ensuring that all business operations teams are aware of key contractual commercial requirements, and implications of non performance.- Provide key support to the operations teams with regards to any business improvement initiatives & contract commercial analysis.- Drive efficiencies and cost saving.- Ensure all costs which are entitled to be recovered, are recovered from client in a timely and accurate mannerResponsibilities extend to implementing and maintaining Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems with overall responsibility for driving Opals commercial activities; partnerships, customer service development and strategic client account management.
