I have regularly spent weekends driving Bosham Sailing Club’s launch, which provided a taxi service for club members from the sailing club to their yachts moored in the harbour. This involves getting on the water early in the morning to get the boat ready, as well as the obvious interaction with club members throughout the day and remembering to pick them up.

During my time teaching sailing I was responsible for a group of people, usually but not always children, for a day. I would have to teach them the RYA syllabus while making sure they where safe and had fun. As well as this I would have to unpack and pack the equipment and boats at the start and end of every day.

My responsibilities included teaching various watersports to clients (both adults and children) as well as socialising with the guests and organising various events within the club. This job required being able to work within a team as well as being able to communicate well with clients in a service industry.
