I’m San Mi Mi, a junior double majoring in Information Systems and Informatics at Indiana University who believes in the importance of technology and innovation to create a positive impact wherever I go. My interest in technology stems from my frustration with existing infrastructure in Myanmar--my home country--where several governmental offices, hospitals, and businesses still rely on outdated, pen-and-paper methods to track various data. I look forward to solving frustrations like these by making existing processes more efficient and effective, especially in industries such as healthcare, education, and consumer products.My past experiences in establishing a technology-focused club during high school and volunteering at Thate Pan Hub have developed my organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Leadership roles in TEDxIndianaUniversity as the Director of Curation and the president of Myanmar Student Association at Indiana University have further developed my leadership, communication, and critical thinking abilities. My core strengths include adaptability, resilience, and creativity, shaped by my upbringing in a developing country and my passion to improve lives in Myanmar. With a blend of business and technical expertise, a passion for analyzing problems, and a goal of delivering tangible impact and solutions, I am excited to leverage my skills and diverse perspective to drive positive change through careers in consulting and technology.
