Passionate about youth empowerment, education reform, globalization and bridging the U.S.- Asia relationship. Firsthand experience of Japan’s education system and social climate from three years of teaching abroad. Over ten years of experience directing group projects and fostering cohesive student learning environments. ２０１１年の東日本大震災後、カリフォルニア大学バークレー校でのTOMODACHIプログラムにYouth Mentorとして参加し、エンパワメントに目覚める。その後、２０１４年まで東北の高校生にリーダーシップと地方創生を教えるボランティアに参加。カリフォルニア大学デービス校在学中の２０１５年にISAのエンパワメントプログラムに参加し、群馬、新潟、千葉、東京の高校でのプログラムでグループリーダーを務めた。日本の教育システムと社会問題についての見識を深めるために、２０１６年からJapan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET)に参加し、兵庫県洲本市の中学校２校でAssistant Language Teacher (ALT)、また洲本市国際交流協会の助手として勤務。２０１８年に米国に帰国し、GPIUSとVIAに入社。現在シリコンバレーのグローバルデザイン会社IDEOのデザイン思考、起業家精神とリーダーシッププログラムを受講中。
