The Maine Cooperative Investment Club (MCIC) is a group of small private investors who support worker cooperatives in Maine through low-cost loans and equity investments.As chair, I organize the group's 12 members, identify prospective investments, recruit new members, and run our regular meetings.

VS Strategies is the policy and public affairs consulting affiliate of Vicente Sederberg LLP, the nation's preeminent cannabis law practice. The two firms are independent but work closely and frequently collaborate on client projects and other strategic initiatives. Clients include businesses, trade associations, government bodies, and other organizations and individuals seeking to shape public opinion and implement the most effective cannabis laws and regulations.I ran our state policy tracking and engagement efforts. Accomplishments and duties included: • Designed and implemented system to identify, review, and track relevant state legislation and rulemakings• Built a database of state cannabis policies, addressing hundreds of topics in all 50 states + DC• Managed state-level advocacy efforts in dozens of states for a variety of clients• Built and maintained relationships with state legislators and regulators to advance policy goals• Analyzed state legislation and rulemakings, drafting summaries and presentations to explain policy impact• Drafted memos, public testimony, and other communications both directly and on behalf of clients• Managed multiple clients in various aspects of the cannabis industry, including running client calls and managing projects• Hired, trained, and managed two entry-level employees and many interns

4Front operates cannabis cultivation, processing, and retail facilities in multiple states. As Government Relations Director, I led the company's government affairs and public policy efforts. Accomplishments and duties included:• Represented 4Front on state and national trade associations, coalitions, and partnerships• Met with local governments to obtain support for siting cannabis businesses• Led teams at annual federal lobby days in D.C. • Organized facility tours and events with state officials• Presented on state cannabis policy at conferences, webinars, and government meetings

When I joined, 4Front was a consulting firm that helped cannabis businesses acquire licenses and operate their facilities. During my time at the company, it evolved to become an operator itself.As Business Development Associate, my duties and accomplishments included:• Obtained new clients by managing the sales pipeline, handling preliminary calls independently, and participating in closing deals• Supported clients from initial license application to business opening• Coached clients on public speaking and government relations• Participated in meetings with local governments on clients' behalf• Supported the Massachusetts campaign for adult-use legalization in 2016

As CT Political Director, I led MPP's efforts to regulate marijuana like alcohol in my home state of Connecticut during the 2017 and 2018 legislative sessions. Accomplishments included:• Led legislative campaign for cannabis legalization, building infrastructure that enabled 2021 victory• Built bipartisan coalition with dozens of organizations and community leaders including clergy, veterans, and social equity activists• Organized coalition meetings, led online and in-person trainings, and drafted documents to empower advocates• Debated the issue on live television, participated in press conferences with legislators, met with newspaper editorial boards, and testified at state and city hearings• Drafted op-eds, letters to the editor, social media content, and email blasts to persuade and engage supporters

As part-time Social Media and Activism Director, I managed all of TechFreedom's social media accounts and worked to effect change through petitions, events, and other activism campaigns, often with broad coalitions of like-minded nonprofits and businesses.

Coordinated significant community service work, such as the “Scouting for Food” food drive. Planned and executed an Eagle Project in which the troop built a playscape for a local preschool.
