As a board member at Buckfastleigh Victoria Park, I collaborate with other directors to develop long-term strategic plans for the organisation, a politically motivated swimming pool that explores radical new means of community ownership and public service. I communicate with stakeholders, including businesses, community groups, and local and national governing bodies, and ensure we remain a forefront voice within the industry, maintaining dialogues with national media organisations.I have a strong background in politics and policy analysis, with a MSc Econ in Politics and Public Policy from Cardiff University, where I scored in the top 1% of my cohort and conducted in-depth analysis of social, defence, and environmental policy. I also have a BA in History from the University of Gloucestershire, where I won the Conrad Tipping Memorial Prize for best local research. I am passionate about analysing policy, preferably under pressure, to enable tangible improvements to people's lives. I love connecting with new people and learning from different perspectives.
