Hi there! I’m Samuditha Saradindu, a curious explorer with a passion for mixing academia, entrepreneurship, and innovation. My journey has taken me through a variety of fields, all fueled by a deep curiosity and a drive to make a positive impact.I’m currently working towards a BSc Hons in Electronics and IT at the University of Colombo, where I’m diving into the fascinating crossroads of physics, computer science, and applied mathematics. I’ve developed a strong interest in areas like quantitative finance, where math and computer science join forces to solve complex financial problems. The possibilities of quantum computing constantly amaze me, and I’m equally captivated by how computational physics uses complex theories from Physics and Computer Science works together to tackle real-world challenges.On the professional side, I juggle a couple of roles at asmiee as Chief of Operations and Head of Research. I’m focused on driving innovation and strategy, shaping how we approach IT services and consulting. Co-founding and reshaping asmiee alongside some visionary friends has been a key part of my growth both professionally and personally.Beyond work and studies, my interests are pretty broad. I’m passionate about entrepreneurship, business strategy, and brand economics. I’ve found surprising life lessons in sports economics and have a keen interest in how large economies function and interact. I’m also drawn to design and architecture.During my time as Vice President and Head of Photography at FOS Media, the official media grid at the Faculty of Science, University of Colombo, I sharpened my leadership, creativity, and communication skills. Through photography and technical blogging, I had the opportunity to tell meaningful stories. My love for astronomy also led me to become a Junior Lecturer and Instructor at the Old Anandians' Astronomical Association, where I shared my enthusiasm for astronomy and explored everything from observational astronomy, astrophysics to astrophotography.I’m always looking to connect with people who share a passion for technology, science, and exploration.
