The NBU Hub is part of the No Business as Usual (NBU) Project, which has the objective of stimulating economic development and youth employment in the Asokore Mampong Municipality, Kumasi. It is a 4-year project funded by the European Union and implemented by SOS CV Ghana.I was hired to provide technical guidance for the designing and setting of the NBU Hub, spearheading programme design and implementation, coordinating with consultants and service providers, supervising training programmes and coordinating the hub’s relationship with the innovation ecosystem in Ghana.Achievements: **Secured a location, designed the hub layout, collaborated with an architect on renovation works and oversaw the final setting up of the hub **Drafted financial budgets and managed funds allocated for hub operations **Led the hub team to successfully complete EU Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for year 1 of the project which included a comprehensive narrative on programme implementation and a detailed logframe indicating all targeted and achieved metrics **Drafted several TOR’s for the selection of various consultants for the project and managed those contracts to a successful completion **Identified challenges with the original programme design and spearheaded its modification with our international partners, SOS Netherlands **Was part of a three-member delegation to the European Union (donors of the project) to justify the proposed modifications and was nominated to report on the progress of the project **Developed professional networks – both in the corporate and innovation ecosystem – to attract various stakeholders including facilitators, employing organizations, internship providers, and training institutions **Drafted job descriptions and assisted in the recruitment of a Training Coordinator and two Youth Coaches

HapaSpace is a local NGO that supports startups, freelancers and professionals by providing co-working and short-term office spaces, and organizing entrepreneurship and IT training/events.
