FLEET MANAGEMENT

RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.At this position I was responsible for the planning of Maintenance, Installation, Repair and Commissioning work of all Mechanical Equipment such as Generating Plant, Compressors Plant, Water Pumps Plant, Fuel delivery Plant, Gas plant, Ventilating plant, handling equipment, light and heavy mobile equipment etc. Reviewed and commented on studies, plans, and proposals for purchasing new equipment.2. Oversees the daily activities for the maintenance and repair of pipes, valves and fittings. Responsibilities also include the supervision of the office shop planner and a workforce of equipment maintenance Mechanics, Technicians and Engineers. I also handle the hold over and recall of equipment on a 24 hour basis for essential services and emergencies.3. Supervised repairs, maintenance and replacement of pipelines, valves &fittings,fire fighting and safety equipment and civil works.4. Oversee the maintenance and repairs of hydraulic machines, pneumatic machines and workshop equipment.5. Troubleshoot fixed and rotating equipment problems and applied Root Cause analysis practices to equipment failure investigations.6. Actively involved in the welding, fabricating and machining works.7. Directed and supervised the maintenance and installation of all Electrical equipment such as generator alternators, switch boards, transformers, Induction motors.9. Design Installation plan and Maintenance Strategies.10. Prepares project reports, tracking and monitored the project.11. Monitors level of spare parts inventory and determines when should be replenish.12. Coordinates preparation of the quarterly budget request for the engineering department, reviews staffing, equipment, and supply needs based upon recent trends and planned activities, monitors expenditures after budget adoption; approves purchase requisitions.13. Update the technical knowledge of the service project team.

Accra

RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Reporting to the CEO. . Responsible for the sales of Komatsu equipment such as Dozers, Excavators, wheel loaders, Motor graders, Dump trucks, Diesel Generators ,Industrial Compressors, industrial Pumps and Construction machines. Accountable for formulating Marketing Strategy, framing Marketing Plans, overall Product Portfolio Management, Pricing Policy and bottom-line for entire business. In addition, the role covers Marketing Intelligence System, Recruitment & Compensation Policy, Appraisal systems and Training & Skills Enhancement for the Service, Sales & Marketing team.2. Handling customers’ problems and complaints that need management intervention. Monitoring adherence to company rules, regulations and work procedures.3. Monitors inventory level, ensure adequate supply of equipment, and spare parts.4. Analyses sales growth opportunities and areas of improvements and reports recommendations to the CEO.5. Direct and supervise assembly and repairing of Komatsu equipment such as construction and earth moving equipment, Diesel Generators, Compressors and Pumps. Actively involved in the welding and machine shop operations. Supervising the repair and rebuilding of excavator and loader buckets.6. Ensures the department staffing with complete and self-motivated personnel and supervises the selection of new employees to fill vacant position when exist.

Western Region

RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Coordinated with the deck officers for running the main engine and other machinery as per their requirements. 2. Followed the Preventive maintenance plan for main engine and machineries and attending the trouble shooting. 3. Performed the main engine mounting and auxiliary engines preventive maintenance as per preventive maintenance schedule as a marine mechanical Engineer.4 Performed the breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance of main engine, compressor, purifiers and pumps as per preventive maintenance schedule as Marine Mechanical Engineer. 5.Carried out main engine and boiler water treatment and report to Chief Engineer.6. Maintained sewage plant and vacuum toilet and carried out inspection and maintenance of exhaust and auxiliary boilers.7. Operate incinerator and burn waste oil according to the regulation and. checked all safety equipments of emergency generator, co2 system, portable fire System, pumps, dampers, fire detectors and alarms.10. Controlled Inventory of machines and main engine spare parts items.11. Prepared Indent requisition for Engine machinery and other machines spare parts. SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT UNDERTAKEN WITHIN THE COMPANY.Designed and manufactured mechanical conveyor wheels.
