As the Chief MCIWS at USMC, I am responsible for training and certifying Marines in water survival skills, as well as leading and mentoring a team of instructors. I have 3 years of experience in the field of water survival, and I have developed and implemented multiple training programs and courses for Marines of different ranks and backgrounds. I have also participated in several missions and operations that required water survival skills, such as amphibious assaults, beach head landing/security, and open ocean training. My core competencies include water survival techniques, instructor development, team management, risk assessment, and emergency response. I am passionate about teaching and empowering Marines to overcome their fears and challenges in aquatic environments, and to enhance their readiness and performance in combat situations. I am also committed to upholding the values and standards of the USMC, and to advancing the field of water survival through innovation and collaboration.
