Hi! My name is Sam, and I’m a computer engineering graduate from University of California, Irvine.I’ve always loved making things, and once it became apparent I wouldn’t be winning a Starcraft II WCS trophy any time soon (okay, any time, period), I began delving deeper into my passion for creation and engineering.In my attempt at going pro with SC2, I developed AI training simulations that emulated the strategies that made me have to type the “gg” in my ladder matches, and the knowledge of the SC2 Galaxy Editor architecture transferred over well to learning programming languages. Now, I’m constantly looking for ways to do things by making programs, especially tedious tasks that take up time I could be using more efficiently elsewhere.In my spare time, I like to go out with friends, play video games, animate models and create visual interface textures, sharpen up on my coding languages, fiddle around on the piano, or simply sit down and eat a bowl of cereal with a good newspaper or magazine article in hand. Growing up playing the violin has also imparted upon me an appreciation for music, inspiring me to play in the UCI Symphony Orchestra and host a show as a radio DJ at KUCI.Please don’t hesitate to get in touch or connect with me.
