A recent graduate in MSc translational neuroscience, I am currently looking for positions focusing on research and laboratory work, particularly pertaining to neurodegeneration. I have experience with research in neurodegenerative disease with a particular focus on Alzheimer's disease. As a result of my education I have a strong understanding of the principles and mechanisms of neurodegeneration, and experience with laboratory skills such as cell culture, immunocytochemistry/histochemistry and compound testing. Additionally, I have strong essential skills such as organisation, communication and critical thinking, which make me well suited to research and laboratory work.
