Assisting with department research work including laboratory analysis.

Assist academic staff and students with learning, research and teaching, and performing defined tasks under supervision including mentoring, tutoring, marking, demonstrations and providing feedback to students. Demonstrate the use of laboratory equipment and enforce laboratory rules. Teach undergraduate level courses as prescribed by departmental staff. Complete laboratory projects prior to assigning them to students so that any needed modifications can be made. Return assignments to students in accordance with established deadlines.Provide assistance to faculty members or staff with laboratory or field research. Inform students of the procedures for completing and submitting class work, such as lab reports. Arrange for supervisors to conduct teaching observations; meet with supervisors to receive feedback about teaching performance. Prepare or proctor examinations. Notify instructors of errors or problems with assignments. Provide instructors with assistance in the use of audiovisual equipment.Assist other educational professionals with projects or research.
