My current role revolves around all parts of system testing on releases and projects of all sizes, this is mainly functional testing but it can include some facets of none functional testing as well. My day to day work involves requirement analysis or liaising with key stakeholders and developers to build and manage the implementation of test documentation and cases prior to test execution. Test execution can be direct manual system/application input, via the building of SQL quires to test reports and back end database data. I am responsible for liaising with business owners/UAT testers to help plan and prepare the UAT test phase including managing any defects through JIRA between the developers and testers. Lastly completing all test exit documentation and peer review steps prior to CAB and final release.During my time at LBS I have undertaken an internal train course which included working through a number of online training courses relating to Visual Studio, Selenium, C# and Specflow from sites such as Pluralsight and Microsoft docs. This course also involved designing and implementing a number of tests through a in house training project which linked back to the LBS frontend website. I have now completed the in house training project and I am working on and managing the build of an automated test solution for one internal application and involved in a number of business guilds involved in automation such as initiatives and training guilds. I am also part of a small team of JIRA admin users who worked to make internal improvements such as moving away from our paper test plan and exit reports and instead we have built a digital JIRA version which all related, Jira calls, test cases, defects and approvals can be linked to. We have also implemented the use of the scriptrunner plugin to automate the creation of authorisation tasks and status transactions with more still being worked on.

My Role at Skipton is split into two parts; Test analyst and Implementation analyst.As a test analyst I use requirements and user stories to build and implement test runs from end to end, this includes; Analysing requirements which are either built from user stories, gained from within meetings or by working directly with business SME's and project stakeholders to build test requirements such as the test plan, test cases, test scripts and resource requirements.Once all actions have been completed and signed off and the development work has been finished, I am responsible for the overall management of the testing for that release. This can include; resource management, including scheduled testing and baton passing, coordinating and chairing daily stand ups, defect triage and logging, all required test closure activities and documentation as well as internal and external stakeholder management.As the Implementation Analyst, this role involves a large amount of system and process analysis, user training, issue investigation and incident logging. This side of the role helps to provide our business colleagues with both ‘post go live' support on any new releases or bug fixes, as well as general system support on day to day BAU queries.This role has allowed me to work at a number of levels within the testing profession, from a system & UAT tester and bug triage analyst, to test managing small releases such as product releases for our back office systems to much large releases including managing the data migration testing during a major system and process replacement project.

Working in the newly formed Data Team, my main role as a Customer Data Analyst revolves around; reporting on and analysing all product and customer data, as well as ensuring that we keep a high level of accuracy with the data that is entered. Upon analysing this information, I am then able to see where colleagues are preforming well and where further training is required. Then, working with closely with my manager, I can organise and run the training required to the team or wider business. My other duties include; data/system error resolution, project development – including system development, system testing, training, process/training documentation creation and go live after-care, as this is a new role many of these additional duties have carried over from extra duties I performed in my previous position.- Since starting with Tigerprint I have been involved in many projects of varying size effecting both Tigerprint and Hallmark cards as a whole. This has meant working closely with a number of different teams and individuals both internally and externally to bring the project requirements to fruition.- Since May 2016 I have been working as the Product Data lead on a major company-wide project which has changed our complete businesses ways of working.- Continuing my role as SME and super user for many of the in-house systems, running process and training sessions to keep the company aligned with new ways of working..- I have created documentation for and ran numerous company wide training sessions for these projects and many other external systems.

Working for Tigerprint as a Category Administrator for the Everyday and Christmas product teams. My main duties include; creating and updating product data on internal and external systems, completing data Validation reports, controlling and updating in team processes and documentation, checking and signing off product data, project development – including system development, system testing, training, process/training documentation creation and go live after-care.- During my time within the team, I have taken on the responsibilities of a senior role within the team. - I regularly represent the company when liaising with the M&S head office (Tigerprint’s sole customer) to give my input into new systems and process that they are planning to introduce. - I am responsible for training new members of the team.

Working in the two different roles, my duties included; actioning client cases and contacting customers, financial businesses and official bodies. These contacts included; the Financial Ombudsman Service, the Financial Conduct Authority, banks and building societies via phone, email and post to investigate the customer’s claims for compensation.- Case and employee auditing.- Training new members of the team within the role, including creating training manuals.- Hand picked to be part of a small team who dealt with resolving and completing some of their most difficult and problematic claims.- Covered team leader roles during absence

Logging all works carried out, parts used and employee job times. Working on temporary contracts within the Nottinghamshire County Council’s Health and Safety department as an administrator. As well working as a customer services officer for the Mansfield District Council’s Social Services, Magistrate’s court and parent and pupil services departments.- General filing and data sorting for the health and safety department in order to replace the 20 year old filling system with a new computer filing system- Dealing with sensitive and difficult cases for the social services and magistrates court- Allocating and corresponding to documentation received in office and advising the Social workers of any action required when needed.- Putting together documentation received in office for each days court cases
