CurrentTeacher – Clare Community Primary School (Stour Valley Academy Trust) & Place Farm Primary Academy (Unity Schools Partnership)To deliver and sustain high standards in teaching and learning throughout the school/s and more widely as part of the school’s Leadership Teams, through a range of Leadership strategies. Key Responsibilities:- As a class teacher, create and deliver engaging lessons that adhere to the National Curriculum Government Guidelines and demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, show pupil progress over time and achieve consistently high SATs results in line with government expectations, effectively manage workload, communicate effectively with other staff members and parents, contribute to and deliver staff development activities.- To lead literacy across the whole school, overseeing the implementation of reading and writing schemes, analyse school data to report to governors and board of trustees, give targeted interventions and teaching to raise attainment, and carry out lesson observations and lead staff training to support teachers in best practice.- Lead and develop Physical Education (PE) across the school by supporting less confident teachers through coaching - demonstrating high quality teaching and clear progression. Other responsibilities as PE Lead cover, attending sporting competitions out of hours, raising the profile of sports through organised sports weeks, and working with outside sports companies and providers. This has led Clare Community Primary School to achieve Active Sports Mark Awards for the last two years.
