I am currrently a teacher in SLUSD, after working over 5 years in the brewing industry working with different companies, beer styles, and a variety of output. Before becoming a brewer, I was a special education teacher for 6 years, and will be returning to the education field. During my previous teaching career I developed my skills in teaching, curriculum design, and student assessment. I have a master's degree in special education and a bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am driven to create positive and meaningful experiences for myself and others, whether it is through education and giving back to the community or the relationships I build in the beer industry. I am always eager to learn new things, explore new opportunities, and contribute to a diverse and collaborative team.
