I am interested in technology and its impact on our future. I have had the privilege to attend InfoSec London and various science/tech fairs. I met with representatives from companies from CrowdStrike to NETSPI and more. I have always been facinated by the development in the computing industry and at the pace it evolves. I can't wait to see what comes next.I enjoy making models and during lockdown completed the 1:8 scale Bugatti Chiron and Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 Lego Technic models, with simulated 8-speed gearbox activated by paddle gearshift, W16 / V12 engine with moving pistons, steering and working rear and front suspension.I have gained my 6th belt in Taekwondo (blue) and enjoy playing golf. Stage-crew team - Sound and Lighting Engineer for 8 school plays over 4 years. Dedicated evenings and weekends to supporting the cast and brought ‘all hands-on deck’ attitude to helping with scenery, curtain as well as all technical aspects of lighting and sound. Worked under pressure during intervals to relocate wireless microphone cables and radio dishes to achieve better quality audio.Software Development – A-level Computer Science Coursework – Developing software app for cognitive and physical rehabilitation for stroke patients, through word activities and physical touch tasks. Using AI to personalise activity and present tasks and games based on the users previous performance and suggesting increased levels of difficulty as recovery progresses.Volunteer QA Tester – I am a frequent early tester for Open AI’s technologies alongside Midjourney. I also partake in frequent video game Alpha and Beta tests for a wide range of companies ranging from Rare, EA and Amazon to SmallIndieCompany and 71Studios.Royal Institution – McLaren Vehicle Design Challenge - Within the context of five given categories, namely down-force, tyre composition, aerodynamics, power unit and weight, our task was to improve the performance of the car by making adjustments to our chosen categories over 5 rounds. We also completed practical activities including building a model of a car suspension, as well as mathematical challenges such as finding the extension of a suspension bar when two forces were applied to it.In my spare time I help run the Computing society at Staffordshire University and collaborate with companies to make the society a success. When away from the computer, I enjoy reading, country walks and several sports such as cricket (including coaching), tennis and golf. I love being creative and making stories alongside playing and running ttrpgs.
