I am currently developing and managing an innovation and research program relating to electrochemistry, applied data science, data analytics, asset integrity, commercial opportunities, and monitoring/surveillance to help Colonial stay on top of the ongoing transitions of the US energy infrastructure. Recently I joined Colonial Pipeline to investigate materials, asset integrity, and device research but have previously done so at Phillips 66, Sandia National Laboratories, Georgia Tech, and the University of Georgia. My career focus is in innovation and identifying and driving new and disruptive ideas from ideation to execution. Previous experiences that support this endeavor include laboratory hardware and software research with an emphasis on property/performance development in terms of degradation resistance, efficiency, overall device performance for a broad range of applications incuding corrosion prevention, monitoring/surveillance, SOFC, SOEC, batteries, and catalysis.
