Here at Daikin, I am quite fortunate to have the opportunity to formulate worthwhile relationships throughout the various sectors of the HVAC industry. I have spent upwards of 6 months partaking in counter sales at our branch in Cherry Hill, NJ. Working face to face with contractors, doing aIl that I can to provide them with parts, equipment and operationally sound solutions to meet their needs.Post counter sales, I shifted my efforts to partake in a combination of inside & outside sales. Participating in methods of prospecting throughout multiple territories within a radius of roughly 80 miles. Through these means of outsourcing new business accounts, I worked to develop a handful of contractors on my own account. Providing them with price and availability for residential & commercial equipment, equipping them with our e-commerce site, and justifying pricing profiles suitable for each dealer.For my development, I have had the liberty of learning from contractors hands on through witnessing installs on split systems, sheet metal work and distinguishing what they value in a supplier partnership. Instruction from dealers has been immensely helpful in understanding why we do the things we do here at Daikin and how we continue to impact the lives of contractors for the better!
