Job Scope and responsibilities Maintaining and Inspecting: -Security lighting and perimeter fencing. -Security barriers equipment and barrier systems.-Assessment and surveillance systems. -Installation access control devices and systems. -Installation visitor control systems. -Facility entry control devices and systems. -Physical barriers (anti-vehicle, anti-explosive, anti-personel, etc.) and systems.-Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).Conduct Risk Threat assessments in coordination with: -Host country agencies, Dutch Police, and The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee. -Intelligence and investigative agencies of the uniformed services. Conduct Physical security surveys as a formal recorded assessment of an installation's overall physical security program to include electronic security. Conduct Physical security inspections as a formal recorded assessment of the physical protective measures and security procedural measures implemented to protect resources Provides a safe and secure environment through employment of physical security measures that are realistic, synchronized with other security disciplines, and provides the necessary flexibility for commanders to prevent unauthorized access and protect personnel, instillation, operations, and related assets and resources against capable threats (loss, misuse, damage, destruction) from terrorists, criminal activity, and other subversive illegal activity.Formally trained at the U.S. Army Military Police School Conventional Physical Security/Crime Prevention Course. Formally trained In ESS and SET (Electronic Security Systems / Security Engineering TrainingMaintains Secret Security Clearance.
