• Achieved an internship through the “NGO Arbeit und Leben Hamburg”, Germany which is part of the German development aid program “weltwärts”• Trained fire fighters in life-saving treatment techniques and advanced first aid including splinting, applying a tourniquet and using a bag-valve-mask.• Responded to critical medical, rescue and fire incidents across Dar es Salaam.• Supervised football matches with more than 60000 observers to ensure a safe environment was maintained, and responded to medical aid cases when they arose.• Implemented a community first responder project with assistance of Trek Medics International.• Developed and conducted a country-wide first aid program for the Fire and Rescue Force Tanzania.
