Financial Hub, Central America & Caribbean, San Salvador. Working as Fixed Asset, Inventory and CWIP Coordinator for the AES El Salvador, AES Dominican Republic and AES Panamá companies. This position is responsible for:1. The coordination, managing and control of the activities of the Fixed Assets Team; in order to guarantee the adequate and opportune accounting register of the Fixed Assets, Inventories and CWIP Transactions for the DistCos and GenCos companies.2. Manage Central America & Caribbean CWIP and fixed assets. Work with other functions to track jobs / work orders for administration.3. Supervise the capital and fixed asset transactions, including additions, depreciation, disposals, and impairments.4. Review adequacy for fixed asset accruals and Depreciation calculations5. Ensure timely and accurate month-end close and reporting6. Coordinate fixed asset reporting for project managers, including roll forward Support, projections of depreciation expense and capex for budget and forecast.7. Serve as audit liaison to external auditors for interim and year-end audits, including the preparation of schedules related to fixed assets.

AES EL SALVADOR (CAESS, CLESA, EEO Y DEUSEM), San Salvador. Working as Coordinator of SOX 404 on the Implementation of Internal Control Procedures, in support of best Practice Processes (SOX 404). This position is responsible for the Control Self-Assessment process, design and put in place of many internal controls, and documentation of critical cycle such as procurement, revenues, fixed assets, payroll, treasury and financial reporting. Additionally, this position is responsible for the attention of the external audits.
