I worked as a field research assistant during a study focused on the reproductive behavior and social structure of spider monkeys (Ateles spp); findings included a better understanding of the relationship between river caudal region height with the fruiting tree paths used by Ateles spp. I also served as an ornithology field research assistant, where my primary responsibilities included assessing the condition of different regions within Tiputini biodiversity station, handling mist nets and the process of banding several bird populations.

I also performed microbiological analysis of shrimp farming pools and salt flats for invasive viruses and bacteria, and analyzed immunological celomic fluid and identified different cell types of the Isostichopus fuscus. I also extracted sex cells of the Crassotrea gigas for fecundation, and monitored the embryological development of the cells for further farming in open water.
