I started at Pike Telecom as a CAD technician on the ground floor and within 5 months I was promoted to team lead, responsible for the progression of a team of designers each with their own projects and deadlines. After 10 months of successfully managing our workflow and doubling the size of our operation, I was promoted to assistant project manager and given responsibility over managing corrections and revisions from multiple clients that were further along in the design process, as well as reporting directly to the clients on the jobs' status and timelines on various weekly calls. After being successful at managing up to 30 designers working on up to 80 jobs (yes, 80) simultaneously for multiple months, I was also put in charge of the Quality Control team and given responsibility for managing the best and brightest we had at setting and enforcing the official design standards across multiple design teams working on projects in different municipalities (this is in addition to the responsibilities already listed). I thrive in fast-paced environments and am at my best when I am given a lot of responsibility. I am accountable, thorough, organized, and I get the job done.
