I am currently a senior at Auburn University. I am very passionate about being apart of the Auburn Family. My goal is to specialize in pursue a career in auditing while also possibly pursuing a a career in forensics/advisory. I am also a former student athletic trainer with the Auburn football team. That opportunity gave me the chance to be directly involved with the Auburn football tradition while also helping me develop skills such as teamwork and communication that will will be invaluable in my professional future. I have also been an employee at the Unclaimed Baggage Center in my hometown of Scottsboro, Alabama. That work experience taught me the value of serving and working for something bigger than myself despite the role that I am in. This Summer I had the opportunity to be a Division of Investigations Intern for the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury. As an investigations intern, I assisted investigators by conducting supplementary work of ongoing investigations of fraud, waste, and abuse of Tennessee state funds. This opportunity allowed me to blend my interest in crime detection as well an opportunity to apply the accounting skills I have developed through my education. These work experiences along with my experiences in academics and athletics have shaped me into the person that I am today and have refined my skills to make me a successful professional.
