• Lead LDH as primary resource of healthcare disaster relief (ESF 8 Initiative)• Develop, Manage, and coordinate emergency preparedness and disaster relief programs• Manage LDH/ agencies Emergency Management on Floor of GOHSEP for emergency and disasters• Make persuasive presentations in political, professional, and public environments• Prepare reports for LDH Secretary, State Health Officer, Director of Emergency Preparedness and Governor• Manage Emergency Preparedness program including Louisiana Emergency Response Network (LERN)• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local, state, and federal officials• Negotiate, establish and administer program budgets for various contracts used to administer public health services during emergencies• Apply for and administer numerous large grants• Allocate resources in a cost effective manner• Maintain and manage department grants and contract budgets in excess of $400 million

• Manage New Construction and Operational staff of new Premier Storage Facility.• Build, Manage and Operate site Emergency Response Team and new apparatus.• Maintain all site documentation for regulatory compliance for EHS, Security.• Coordinate site safety and security through subordinate Safety and Security Managers and employees.• Maintain site compliance for Environmental Permitting.• Develop initial site IH programs• Develop community response team through ERT.• Develop community COPS program through security patrolling• Facility Incident Commander• Maintain response duties within PILOT program Deputy Sheriff response (SJSO Commission)• Serve and Fire Battalion Chief for St. John the Baptist station 72 for additional and mutual aid responses for PILOT program Fire response
