Research project: Exploring the effects of Paclitaxel on actomyosin cytoskeleton and extracellular vesicle release in breast cancer

Over the summer during University I had the chance to undertake work experience in the Department of Cell Biology at UCL. This gave me a valuable experience working in a professional research setting, where I use numerous practical skills from preparing HUVEC cultures under different conditions then extracting their RNA to run gel electrophoresis/PCR's, as well as using the culture of cells for Immunohistochemistry. However the analytical skills were just as important, to understand what the results showed and their implication to the hypothesis proposed.
