Experienced Supply Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the military industry. I started out in 1982 with 10 years as a Navy Storekeeper working all kinds of adventures, from three years living in Keflavik Iceland, six months in Antarctica receiving the Antarctica Medel. If there was equipment that had wheels, I learned it. I became a combat stevedore with CHB 1 and crossed the line of death in Libya on the USS Mahan DDG-42. I was a 50 Cal gunner during the Gulf War and assisted in various Supply inspection preparations receiving two supply efficiency awards. I also was awarded two Good Conduct Medal, a Unit Expedition Medal, a Southeast Asian campaign medal, the Navy Expeditionary Medal, Fleet Marine Force Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal then I came out of the Navy in 1992. Just before 9/11 I was a certified Rigger at Dyten’s Shipyard. Through the yard and working on one of the specialty vessels I joined the Merchant Marines and supported our troops during the 2nd Golf War as an independent Supply Technician on board various LMSR vessels. This was a unique position as there was no Supply Technicians assigned to an engineering department on any other merchant fleet. This was unique for the LMSR programs of the Army. For 10 years I worked on these ships going back and forth from Charleston, SC to Kuwait. Awarded the Merchant Mariners Service metal for my support to the troops in the 2nd Gulf War. I now work in the PD division through KBR at the weapons station in Goose Creek, SC.
