I hold a PhD in material sciences, with an expertise on numerical simulations at the nano-scale in 2D materials. I graduated from UCLouvain in 2016 with a Master in physics engineering after spending one year at DTU as an exchange student. In the following, I pursued a PhD at the MODL division at UCLouvain under the supervision of Prof. J.-C. Charlier, studying quantum transport in polycrystalline graphene, metal-graphene contacts and lateral junctions of transition metal dichalcogenides.As a researcher at UCLouvain, I had the opportunity to collaborate with other European experts groups (CEA Grenoble, UMons, Université Paris Saclay). I also participed in many international conferences, especially on 2D materials. Lastly, I undertook the teaching of exercises in statistical physics and atomistic simulations. My interests include machine learning, economics and philosophy.
