As Founder and Senior Partner at Dixon and Thompson, Samuel Dixon has experience with general trial practice, capital litigation, wrongful death, condemnation, and real estate. Dixon has for the last 18 years served as an elected official for the town of Edenton where he is budget chairman. He is also the chairman of the National Trust Council, a philanthropic organization that supports the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Washington,DC. Dixon currently serves as a founding board member of MainStreet America in Chicago, Illinois. Dixon is also active in numerous other local, state and national nonprofit organizations. Dixon is passionate about historic preservation. He owns the Dixon Company of Edenton and advises others about adaptive re-use projects.
