As seasoned Director and Fixed Income Sales professional, I deliver superior results by leading a team to provide solutions to the bank’s capital requirements and regulatory constraints and by partnering with investors to deploy their cash effectively.I began my career as a junior generalist salesperson at the outset of the Global Financial Crisis, developing a holistic understanding of the desk. After joining Credit Suisse, I was twice selected for Accelerated Leadership Programs and rose to become the desk head. My responsibilities have evolved and scaled in my 17 years at the firm, adapting to the changing investment guidelines for my clients, while implementing new funding strategies for the bank, in an ever-evolving regulatory landscape. By developing expertise in many funding products and collaborating constructively with my team, across trading desks, and with senior leadership, I have consistently been the top performer. I personally generated over 40% of sales for a desk generating $120-150mm annually and managed the most important institutional liquidity relationships for the firm. Working at a firm like Credit Suisse has afforded me the opportunity to be on the forefront of financial innovation. I teamed with internal stakeholders and clients to launch a “green” shelf of our ABCP conduit Alpine Securitization, growing outstandings to over $2bln. As regulations encouraged banks to fund some assets off balance sheet, my team partnered with Nearwater Capital to launch “Regatta”, allowing the firm to avoid onerous capital constraints of over $1bln in firm assets. In addition, I am adept at working beyond a traditional narrow sales role. During the aftermath of the Archegos and Greensill reputational disasters, I partnered with clients to unearth $3bln in additional funding for highly illiquid private label collateral in the form of long-term evergreen repurchase agreements. Consequently, my true value to an organization is my ability to implement a broader strategic plan by collaborating across the firm’s various departments and functions.
