I started my first part time role at Bunnings Warehouse Frankston as a trolley boy and register assistant. I moved to the Hawthorn Bunnings Warehouse where I worked as a Sales Assistant in the outdoor living and power garden departments.

The Hacker Exchange is an innovation intensive program that gives student an insight into the start up ecosystem in Silicon Valley. The Hacker Exchange builds strong entrepreneurial skills with a core focus around providing students with the skills and background to form their own start up. Over the two week program I worked with a wide range of mentors from different successful career backgrounds, with the main focus being my personal development.

At IBM I financially managed a contract with Telstra controlling all forecasting, analytics and accounts receivable. Financially managing the contract between IBM and Telstra required cost minimizing analysis and future forecasting to maximize the contracts profits. Decisions about cost amortisation and revenue recognition were crucial for the month end processes and reporting results to our head office. I was responsible for accurately processing the weekly labour reports for all Telstra contracts and sending the results out to the correct executives, this was a crucial part of forecasting future costs. I also provided accounts receivable assistance for all Telstra contracts, liaising with employees in Malaysia and India to collect the correct information. During my time at IBM I would occasionally volunteer to assist in internship and graduate information sessions, providing eager students with an insight into the daily routine of an employee at IBM

I worked at Lendlease assisting with the smart meter installation throughout Victoria. I provided our team with data entry, contract analytics and customer conflict resolutions. Part of my responsibility involved driving to customers houses once a week and informing them that they would be receiving a smart meter installation within the week.
