- Utilising blast hole assays in combination with the mining models to design block-outs in Vulcan through understanding the nature of geology, machines requirements and capabilities.- Ore types: Detrital, CID and bedded iron deposits. - Monitoring QAQC to validate that lab is working efficiently and the information provided is of a high level of confidence. - Provide support to the quality and planning team to ensure suitable material is mined for processing and blending purposes based on scheduling. - In addition, conducting blast cone sampling inspections, pit inspections, ore spotting to ensure the quality of material mined and also to maximize the opportunity to be involved with field interactions. - Maintaining high standards of safety on a daily basis to meet the expectations of the company's core value of safety.- Assisting in the training of new starters.

Summer vacation work with green-fields exploration company, independent task management, accurate data entry, qualified use of pXRF device, management, interaction and consultation with contractors on RC rig and diamond drill rigs.
