2nd OFFICER DPO..My responsibilities are keep maintenance and inventory of all safety and navigational equipments onboard, preparing passage plan, correcting charts and publication onboard, deck watching in port, keeping position of the vessel while in DP. • Certified Helicopter Landing Officer.• Assisting and Operates the DP system with the coordination of the project team like: (Heavy Lifting operation, Diving operation, Survey operation, ROV Operation and Project Superintendents).• Preparing all DP checklists prior the project operation.• Performs DP trial checklists prior the project.• Operate the Dynamic positioning equipment under the direction/supervision by SDPO.• Operate and understand the ballast control system, Power Management System and Fire and Gas systems• Sets up the DP system before entering the 500 Meter zone.• Makes the necessary drift test and capability plots on the DP system.• Familiar with DP System like Converteam, Kongsberg SDP 21 system, Rolls-Royce, K-Pos system for DP.• Perform watch as DPO on a DP class 3 and class 2 vessels.• In charge of installation of all Loose Fire fighting and Safety equipments.• In charge of updating the Safety and Fire Plan.• Performed FMEA test for DP Class 2 and Class 3 (Failure Mode and Effect and Analyses).• Assist and Familiarize with DPO on the Bridge with the commissioning of DP system.• Familiar with the Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS).MARIS/Kongsberg system.• Updating of all Electronic Charts on board.• Ordering permit for Electronic Charts. and etc.
